It is with great sadness we have to announce that the Vice President of the Mevagissey Museum, Arthur Frazier has passed away at the grand age of 100. Arthur and his father were the owners of the boatyard that is now the museum, and on Arthur's retirement, with the very generous help of a local benefactor, the museum was purchased for the community, and has been open for 51yrs. His family funeral will take place on Tuesday 26th January at 11.30 and Arthur will be driven onto the quay past the museum on his final journey around Mevagissey.
